Lib Services over Winter break

Library Annex I and Library @ HSS rooms will be closed starting Wednesday December 24th at noon until Friday January 2 at 8am.
Winter session hours begin Friday January 2 at 8am and will be in effect through Sunday January 25.

Below is a summary of the most important things you need to know if you’ll be needing to use Library services during this time.

Server Downtime

There will be three scheduled campus power outages between December 24th and December 30th which will result in server downtime.

Requesting Books

You may continue to request books during the December 24 – Jan 2 closure. However, books will not be available for pick up until Monday, Jan. 5. Requesting books will resume with the normal 24 hour turnaround on Monday January 5th.

Returning Books

When the Library is closed, books can be returned at the Book Return box outside of the HSS building across from the Administration building. After the Library reopens on January 2nd, books can also be returned to HSS 104.

Winter Break Book Retrieval Closure

All library services will close for the winter break, Dec 25. – Jan. 1.
Book requests can be made online in the catalog during the break.
However, books will not be available for pick up until starting Monday, Jan. 5.
Your library account will send an email when your book is ready for pick up.
