I admit that I was not thrilled at the prospect of taking the online library class when starting at SFSU. And my thoughts on it didn’t alter at completion.
I use the library more online for its lovely OED link and other online subscriptions.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE libraries. I frequent several in the city, and have spent many happy hours at libraries at Stanford and UCDavis. However the over all layout of our library boggles my mind. It doesn’t seem to flow or make sense and needs some serious upgrading. I heard that a facelift was in order for the library; and I honestly hope that it helps because I have never been turned off of a library in my entire existence, so something must be amiss.
